About the event
This year’s Class Championship will be held at Helensburgh under the Organising Authority of Helensburgh Sailing Club. We last held our Class Championship in Helensburgh in 2017 and it was a well-organised event.
The Entry Fee will be £130 (for entries received by 20thMay) and there will be discounted Rhu Marina berthing at £28 per night for up to five nights starting Wednesday 14th June - bookable with and payable to the Marina directly (01436 820238, e: rhu@boatfolk.co.uk) and quoting the Championship.
Visitors are advised to book accommodation ashore asap since the nearby naval base attracts lots of visiting contractors who snap up a lot of the capacity. Recommended places to look are AirBnB and VisitScotland, with "Helensburgh" as the search. Before booking check it out on the map since some searches fail to take account of the Clyde Estuary - don't book anything on the south of the river!
